About the Event

Join us in the shop Saturday December 18th as we introduce to you to new wines from the Veneto, Friuli, Puglia & Tuscany Regions. Come meet Noah Stevens, Executive Director of Global Wines Maryland, as we visit these regions with fabulous wines for you to taste.

About the wines, taste any 3:

Cantina Colli Euganei, Prosecco DOC:  The color is straw yellow, sometimes with greenish reflections. The aroma is crisp, fruity, with flowery hints. The flavor is soft, lively, but not aggressive. It is an excellent aperitif or it can accompany any dish without sauces.

Zorzettig Sauvignon Blanc 2020: A gold-tinged core decorates the glass. The aromas are led by freshly zested Amalfi lemon peel, ripe peach, chamomile, and a hint of herb. The mouthfeel is precise and cleansing, with joyful acidity, crushed limestone minerals, and a long, memorable finish.

COPPI Gioia del Colle DOC Primitivo Senatore 2017: Characterized by an intense red color, with purple hues. The nose opens with intense and persistent aromas of red fruit, enriched with light spicy notes. The palate is warm and soft, quite dry and tannic.

Castelli Martinozzi Brunello di Montalcino 2016: Ruby red closer to pomegranate, after some years acquires a tint of amber. The aromas are complex intensive and elegant bouquet with scent of undergrowth and predominance of violet and musk.

We hope to see you at Simpatico to explore these amazing wines! Cin Cin!
