About the Event

Are you a lover of Italian wines? In addition to our complimentary daily wine tastings, join us every Saturday as we introduce new wines to you from all over Italy. You will taste up to 3 wines that we will choose to offer to "expand your palate" and we will share food pairing ideas too!

Linda will be tasting some of the favorite wines from Abruzzo, Sicily, Basilicata and Tuscany!

Civitas Pecorino – 100% Pecorino. Expressive & Intense. Aromas of citrus, ripe pear, peach, and orange blossom. Clean, rich and full bodied. Lunaria's Organic and Biodynamic vineyards are located at the foot of Majella National Park in Abruzzo, one of the most intact natural parks in Europe.

Mandricardo Catarratto – 100% Catarratto. Aromas of passionflower, marine herbs & golden fruit. Pairs well with Vongole pasta, Roasted Vegetables, & Fish.

Verbo Malvasia – 100% Malvasia. Pale yellow color, a fruity bouquet depending on the variety, fresh, full and intense, fresh taste soft and delicate with a slight bitter taste, very pleasant in its harmony. Gastronomic combination and serving temperature: ideal with starters, risottos, fish and shellfish.

Poggio del Concone Super Tuscan – 75% Sangiovese, 15% Cabernet and 10% Merlot. 98 POINTS Luca Marone! 30% of the batch is barrel aged for three months, followed by two months in bottle. Aromas of blackberry and fresh plums, cherries, currants and a hint of licorice. The fruity notes are accompanied by a pronounced acidity. Mouth-filling and fresh, with polished tannins and a warm, long finish. Pair with grilled red meat, pork ribs, leg of lamb and juicy burgers.

Which one will you like best? Let us know!

We hope to see you at Simpatico to explore our amazing wines, foods, gifts and more from every region in Italy! Cin Cin!
