Join us as we celebrate the men and women who have died serving our country. Come to St. Michaels for the Memorial Day parade on Saturday May 24th and stop into Simpatico to participate in our activities for this Memorial weekend. Salute!

About the Event
This weekend, we will be honoring all the men and women of the US military who gave their lives in service to our country here in the US as well as all over the world. In World War II approximately 19,475 American soldiers lost their lives during the Italian Campaign. This campaign spanned from the Allied invasion of Sicily in July 1943 to the German surrender in Italy in May 1945. We will be showing documentaries in our Trattoria about the Italian Campaign throughout the weekend. As we honor our fallen heroes, we will be giving away small US Flags and poppy lapel pins from our local VFW, and offering lunch and wine tasting of up to 12 wines in our courtyard with 2 of our importers. Gene Feher, a local veteran, will be playing "Taps" Saturday and Sunday between 12 and 2 PM. See details below.
