About the Event
This weekend, we will be honoring all the men and women of the US military who gave their lives in service to our country here in the US as well as all over the world. In World War II approximately 19,475 American soldiers lost their lives during the Italian Campaign. This campaign spanned from the Allied invasion of Sicily in July 1943 to the German surrender in Italy in May 1945. We will be showing documentaries in our Trattoria about the Italian Campaign throughout the weekend. As we honor our fallen heroes, we will be giving away US Flag Pins from our local VFW and offering lunch and wine, as well as wine tasting with 2 of our Italian wine importers, in our Trattoria and courtyard.
