We are so excited to offer our Umbrian Wine Dinner to introduce to the USA the Terre de la Custodia wines from the Montefalco area in Umbria, imported exclusively for Simpatico, paired with a typical Umbrian dinner. Our guest speakers from New York and Umbria will be joining us from their homes. Simpatico will provide all the wines and the food courses for the evening, and you will pick up the dinner packages and wines on Saturday at the shop.

April 18th, Saturday: The Perfect Social Distancing Wine Dinner Event in your home: Umbria Wine & Food!

Who: Livio Rotini, Export Manager, Farchioni/Terre de la Custodia, Umbria, Pietro Cavallo, Importer Wine4all from New York, Noah Stevens, Global Wines MD & Me (Bobbi) Remotely 

Where: In Your Home via Zoom!

When: Saturday April 18th - 6:30 PM 

What: 4 course Wine & Food Tasting, we supply everything you will need for this experience

How: You will need your PC on your dining room table and position your chair or chairs next to each other looking at the PC. We will provide the link for the Zoom Virtual Gathering. You will take the food out of the packages, prepare and serve each course as we talk talk about the wines and foods. The items that require cooking are the 3rd and 4th courses, and they are easy (and delicious)! 

We have 18 packages available.

Cost: $135 covers all 4 wines and 4 courses (servings for up to 2 meals, ask about additional people if more in quarantine)

Montefalco Sagrantino 2015 DOCG, Tre Bicchiere 2020 Award Winner with Filet of Beef with Umbrian Sauce

Livio Rotini has created a video for you to watch to demonstrate the cooking of the pasta and meat courses, you can see it here . We visited this winery last year on our May Group Wine & Food trip and enjoyed the most amazing lunch in their Michelin star dining room along with their fabulous wines. Since our visit, the Montefalco Sagrantino 2015 won a Tre Bicchiere Award as one of the top 14 wines in Umbria. Sagrantino is hard to find in the USA; this red is an intense ruby red color, complex and strong with hints of blackberry jam, dried plums, and spices, great body, soft with well-balanced tannins. Let it breathe an hour before dinner! This wine can age for 15 to 20 years!
