About the Event
As we continue our Virtual Wine & Food Tour on Saturday May 1st, 2021, we return to the Veneto-Lombard region along Lake Garda, and explore 4 exceptional wines from the Zenato and Sansonina wineries, both owned by Zenato.
I am very excited about the wines from the Zenato family, and to share with you the history and uniqueness of the land and the wines, as we taste these 4 new wines to our virtual wine tour series.
The wines are imported by Winebow Imports, and we welcome back as our Guest Speaker Marcello Palazzi, Portfolio Specialist, originally from Naples, Italy. Marcello now resides in Naples, Florida, where he will be for our dinner on Zoom, and we will enjoy his lively exchange of interesting information about the wines, foods and culture of Veneto. We have planned a very typical collection of foods/courses from this region to pair with the wines. As always with our speakers, we really learn a lot during our virtual "trips" and have a lot of fun exploring new wines and foods.
All courses will be prepared in advance by Chef Alfredo of Osteria Alfredo's Asparagi Bianchi Bassano estaurant, so you only have to warm up the courses through the dinner, and just plate the dessert. Come join us as we immerse ourselves into this beautiful wine growing region in the northeastern part of Italy and expand our palates to new wines and foods!
