About the Event
Join us Saturday June 4th as we introduce to you to new wines from the Fruili-Venezia Giulia Region. Come meet Katherine Baker of Bacchus Importers, as we visit this region with fabulous wines for you to taste.
About the wines:
- Scarpetta, Venezia Giulia Bianco Frico (2021) - On the palate, this blend of Friuliano and Chardonnay is crisp and clean with a zesty, white grapefruit flavor.
- Scarpetta, Friuli Pinot Grigio (2021) - Showing pinot grigio's ability to be light on its feet but complex. Melon and stone fruits with minerals and medium body.
- Scarpetta, Vino Spumante Brut Rose delle Venezie Scarpetta Timido Edition #8 - 100% Pinot Nero. This wine is crisp and dry with delicate flavors of juicy strawberries and fresh herbs.
