Join us in our outdoor courtyard Saturday August 14th as we introduce to you to 4 wonderful wines from Salento, Puglia, "The heel of the boot" with Mark Parker of Lanterna wines, one of our distributors.
About the wines, taste any 3, we loved them all when we previewed them:
Pass-O Fiano B. IGT Salento 2020 Pass-O is a wine with a full and enveloping taste. Large bouquet, with hints of ripe white fruit, peach blossom and jasmine.
Novementi Rosato IGT Puglia 2020 A soft and fresh rosé made with Negroamaro grapes grown on red and shallow soil, on layers of limestone. The color recalls the petals of the rose, lit by ruby reflections, the scent is that of roses with wild strawberries; the fresh and velvety taste, pleasantly savory.
Il Mondorlo Negroamaro IGT Salento 2020 Balanced and complex wine. Intense ruby red color with garnet reflections. Powerful and harmonious, fresh and balanced taste.
Quota 31 Primitivo IGT Salento 2019 A wine of considerable complexity produced from the native Apulian variety of great tradition, the Primitivo. Opulent, warm and enveloping taste.
These wines are offered at great price points, as most wines from Puglia are.
