Simpatico Famous Orange Extra Virgin Olive Oil Cake
Based on an 800 year old Tuscan recipe from Tenuta di Capezzana, the estate of the Contini Bonacossi family, stands in the gentle hills west of Florence, overlooking the Arno Valley. The recipe is included in Pamela Sheldon Johns' cookbook Italian Food Artisans (Chronicle Books, 2000).
Ingredients: Flour, Sugar, Extra Virgin Olive Oil,
Organic Whole Milk, Organic Eggs, Organic Orange Zest,
Baking Powder, Baking Soda, Pinch Salt.
